Yoga - Body, Posture and Self Healing



YOGA - Mind, Body and Soul


 I have been practising Yoga since a little more than 2 years.

The growth I have seen is tremendous. 

What I have also learnt is that your posture speaks a lot about your state of mind at that time.

                                            "Bent Back or Slouching Shoulders"

Mind : These are a sign that you are not in the NOW. Your focus is elsewhere. As soon as you will shift the focus to your current moment, your body will respond and change its stance. 

Body : Slouching shoulders also depict less reliance on your centre - your core for strength. Our back represents both 'Sthira' and 'Sukha', i.e. 'Strength' and  'Flexibility'. As soon as you allow this concept to seep in and keep working on your core, you will see that the body will get into the tendency to centre itself on its own.

Soul : At the soul level, inside of you, try to gauge how supported you feel.... Its not about the support from others or internal, since whatever is internal is what is reflected in the outside world. A soul that feels supported by this universe and internally, one that feels in line with the energy of the universe will automatically be able to align the energy chakras and present a straight back and active shoulders.
